Antonio Olivieri
Antonio Olivieri (Messina, 2004) is a filmmaker and video editor. Diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) during middle school, he developed an early interest in video-making and editing, which led him to study at IFA Film School in Pescara, specializing in film editing and post-production. During his studies, he worked on the trailer for Saudade by Pietro Falcone and the special features for Carne et Ossa by Roberto Zazzara. He later edited the short film Alle Spalle by Antonio Carannante and the mockumentary L’uomo a cui hanno rubato il cuore by Francesca Sepa and Riccardo Colleluori. Passionate about documentary filmmaking, he directed and filmed his first independent documentary, Il Silenzio di Montalbano, inspired by the depopulation of his family's hometown in Sicily
