Hannah Buhr
Hannah Buhr, born in Hamburg, Germany, is a producer specializing in both fictional and documentary filmmaking. Since 2021, she has been pursuing a degree in Film Production at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, with a focus on International Producing. Her passion for character-focused storytelling and internationally produced films has led her to work as a producer on several feature documentaries during her studies. Shooting on location in places such as London, Los Angeles, Iceland, France and Bulgaria, she refined her goal of making multilingual, multilocational storytelling a priority in her work. Hannah has also gained experience producing fictional short and feature films. These projects have received recognition at festivals including Cleveland IFF, YDA in Cannes, Reykjavik IFF, Camerimage, Max-Ophüls-Preis, Hof IFF, and the IFF Rotterdam. In 2023/2024, Hannah joined the third-year program at La Fémi in Paris as a scholar. Since 2024, she has been a scholar of the VFF Verwertungsgesellschaft der Film- und Fernsehproduzenten.
