Ester Ivakič

Ester Ivakič (1992) is a Slovenian film director and screenwriter. In 2016, she received a Special Jury Mention at the Festival of Slovenian Film for her student film Srdohrd, and in 2021 she won the Best Slovenian Film award at the FeKK Festival for her short film Magical Castle Is Here Now. Her feature-length debut Ida Who Sang So Badly Even the Dead Rose Up and Joined Her in Song premiered at the 2025 FilmFestival Cottbus.
