
Andrew Pleavin
Andrew Pleavin (born 13 April 1968, London, England) is an English actor, 1.78 m tall. He spent his early years in Transvaal, South Africa, then returned to the UK at 12, where he trained in martial arts (achieving black belt at 18) before studying at the Drama Centre London (1993–1996) under Christopher Fettes and Yat Malmgren. He is best known as Daxos, the Arcadian king, in 300 (2006) and its sequel 300: Rise of an Empire (2014). Other notable film roles include Batman Begins (2005), Inception (2010), London Has Fallen (2016), and American Assassin (2017). On television, he appeared in Attila (2001, as Orestes), The Bill (1999–2005), Messiah III: The Promise (2004), and Witchville (2010). He was previously married to Romla Walker (m. 2007, divorced); they have one child.
