Before I Met You

An intimate observational documentary that takes viewers behind the closed doors of state maternity wards, revealing how the miracle of birth has been reduced to rigid routines and outdated procedures. Through candid testimonies of mothers and situational interviews with medical staff, it exposes a healthcare system where protocol and medication often eclipse women’s autonomy and dignity during childbirth.
