Sweet Treat

Will the $10 for a Sweet Treat be worth the cost?

Over the last decade, besties Tessa (Marie) and Avery (Olsson) have loved each other in small and ordinary ways: coffee runs, late-night phone calls, shared snacks, girl dinners, and a myriad of quintessential twenty-something experiences. Subtle details in the background suggest that the world around them is shifting while these everyday acts of care that once felt routine now carry different stakes. Is this new, or were they simply insulated by the bubble of college? As they move through the years to come, the oppressive systems around them become impossible to ignore. Through this, we explore the transformative power of a little bit of hope and the perfect Sweet Treat.
