My Real Name Is Elisabeth

Elisabeth ("Betsy") is diagnosed with schizophrenia in post-war France, institutionalized for 17 years at her husband's request, and subjected to a lobotomy after years of electro-shock therapy. A story of family secrets and inherited violence, mother-daughter relationships, intergenerational trauma, and women stalked and haunted by patriarchy and loss.
