The Inheritance

Venus, a Black violinist, accompanies her wife, Harley, to clear out a family estate. Once there, Venus begins experiencing disturbing visions that blur the line between past and present, drawing her into the house’s dark history. As the haunting intensifies, she uncovers buried secrets of generational trauma, ancestral legacies, and unspoken family pain. Caught between fear, love, and the weight of inherited history, Venus must confront the past to reclaim agency over a legacy that threatens to consume her.
