Hanayagi Genshyu: Capable of bloody violence, yet at the same time an empathetic dancer and singing all-round talent – an unusual Japanese woman who acts and lives according to her own individual and very radical standards. In her artistic interpretation of a classic Japanese work, she rejects rigid, tradition-bound stylization, allowing feelings to speak instead. She reinterprets the content from a woman's perspective.Hanayagi Genshyu: Capable of bloody violence, yet at the same time an empathetic dancer and singing all-round talent – an unusual Japanese woman who acts and lives according to her own individual and very radical standards.
